A life in photography

Born in Fès in 1949 and based in Bern, Driss Manchoube has practised photography as a self-taught artist since 1974.

An independent photographer since 1992, he has worked for newspapers, magazines and several Swiss institutions. For many years, he also photographed Bern’s major sporting events. He has presented several exhibitions in Switzerland and Morocco. His latest exhibition, devoted to Bern, took place in 2024.

His work offers a direct, human and often unexpected perspective on people, cities, light and the quiet traces of time.
